First Light Flowers is a natural evolution here on our 47 acre homestead farm in the hills of Greensboro, Vermont owned and operated by me, Michael.

After moving to Vermont in the summer of 1996, I started working on local organic farms. By 1999, I was organically farming this land to supply 11 Community-Supported Agriculture shares. By 2008, business grew and I was selling organic vegetables to local restaurants and at farmers markets. In 2018, we added hemp to the diversity of organic vegetables and free range animals here on the farm. We spent 5 seasons expanding the hemp business while slowly moving away from farmer markets and restaurant sales. In the summer of 2022, we shifted to cannabis and the farm was licensed as a tier 2 outdoor cultivator!
